The Twisted Path  

This bag represents that it is not only ok but inevitable that our life takes turns, twists and encounters challenging waves. 

I always find it insane that young people are coached  to get in touch with, “their purpose.” This is too much expectation to be placed on young minds, any minds.  

It creates anxiety, unrealistic expectations, depression and disconnection. As far as I can tell it primarily  enriches the life coach’s pocket’s. These days when  asked for advice from young people I simply respond, “Enjoy your life and don’t think too much.” I still struggle to take my own advice of course. 

In terms of BLM, we need to embrace these twists in our own life in order to accommodate the challenges and changes needed to eradicate racism.
