The black side of this bag has stitching in the form of a mountain. The stitching is barely visible but is there and looms high. Three interior pockets.

Performative politics and superficial diversity policies that do not have real measures imposed such as hiring data, discrimination claim stats., salary tables, retention numbers, diversity policies and leaders’ public actions against racism keep this invisible mountain of inequity in place.

The entire playing field needs to change not just equal opportunities made available on a white playing field. The field itself needs to be flooded and flushed out.

It is time for radical politics and radical change both individually and collectively.
